Jersey born, Myke Rivera has performed all over the NY/NJ scene, including the famed Stone Pony and internationally in Prague, Czech Republic. Myke is the former front man for the band THIS. He can be seen briefly in the movie Chasing Amy as “Bungee.” You can also catch him with local favourites Universal Rebel. He loves all things Irish and the NJ Devils.
New Jersey native, Matt Dans was a member of Sonic Circle from 1990-2007. He has performed at CBGB's, Lovesexy, and many other bars, clubs, and venues around the region. Matt has shared the stage with metal legends Nuclear Assault, Nonfiction, and Sanctuary. He went on to co-found The Cosmic Phantoms and rocked NJ from 2007-2009 before joining The Community.
Michael Biskup attended NYU where he studied recording technology and guitar. Since then he has continued to study jazz guitar and record his own music with local musicians. He has played (and still plays) in numerous bands such as In Petto, Deathmask, The Lifeguards, No Use For Humans, Lulla, Xochitl, Vera’s Lair, Universal Rebel and Ballroom. Michael has toured the east and west coast and his varied history and experience make him a valuable addition to the Community family.
Derek - Aka "Blindman " began his musical journey at 16. He was instrumental in the founding of many bands, notably Days of Sorrow, the hip-hop, reggae rock band RAINation and of course the Community. He has performed in support of acts such as The Roots, Kanye West, The Black Eyed Peas, Jimmy Cliff, Robert Randolph and more. D.Gazal gives thanks and praises to the most high and his beautiful wifey for on-going love and support.
Chad, NJ Native, has been playing music since his high school days. He made the change from guitar to bass in college because it just felt right. Co-founded the original band Big Man Down(2000-2004), and when he isn’t jamming with the Community he’s rocking with The Killer Jellyfish.
